The former Lazy coal mine area is located in Orlová, within the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Karviná District.

The area’s current state and urban character are the result of construction related to coal mining. A feasibility study has been conducted to explore future uses for the site, which is currently undergoing dismantling and preparation for development into an economic zone.
