Kozinec
The sunken basin of Kozinec, where the village of Kozinec once stood, has been transformed into a picturesque lake, where not only locals but also residents from surrounding areas swim in the summer.
The lake itself and the adjacent wetlands are ecologically valuable, and it is therefore desirable to preserve these qualities. The areas between the village and the lake are still seeking optimal use, but they have the potential to create a community space where local residents can relax and meet. As a result, LIFE COALA is currently working with the municipality on a proposal that sensitively incorporates a park, a woodland area, and a flower meadow with a viewpoint, linking these places with trails and appropriate amenities, thereby expanding the entire recreational area around the lake.
