The educational trail leads outside the continuously built-up area and is divided into two stages. The route of the first stage leads from the winter stadium to K Zimovůdce Street and further along paths through the Krajčok forest to Rajčula Street. The second stage continues along Lidická Street to the former castle park in the historic center of Orlová.

The trail was built by the Ostrava-based company SeePOINT, with a total cost of 776,094 CZK. The town of Orlová received a financial contribution of 150,000 CZK from TV Prima for the construction of the trail. As part of the project “Together We Explore Nature,” Orlová received a non-refundable financial contribution for the first stage of the educational trail, amounting to 9,089 EUR, which is 224,854 CZK. This amount was provided by the Small Projects Fund of the Interreg V-A Slovakia – Czech Republic Operational Program.
